More than your average bed & breakfast…

Dining at Aird Hill

We provide excellent, locally sourced breakfast, occasional evening dining with drinks and aperitifs at Aird Hill.

Breakfast at our B&B

Our delicious breakfasts are all cooked to order and we use as many home produced and locally sourced ingredients as possible.

Our hens provide eggs, all bread is freshly home baked, jam & honey are often home produced and that philosophy is carried throughout.

On offer are a number of options including a full cooked breakfast (or any individual elements of it you’re tempted by), scrambles eggs with local smoked salmon (mmm…) or a continental breakfast with cold meats & cheeses. The expected choice of cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts and fruit are also available of course.

Breakfast is served at the time of your choice, normally between 7.30 – 9.00, but we make exceptions when required if at all possible.

Evening Dining

Locally sourced seafood and meat features on our menu.

Locally sourced meat, vegetables and seafood features on our menu.

We offer a fixed, 3 course evening meal at £29.50 per person (less for children depending upon their age) and all of our dishes are home cooked from scratch. We try to make the best of some of the wonderful ingredients that are available in our part of the world, including fresh, local langoustines, highland beef, fish from our shores and soups from local veg (and, we have to admit, some far flung lands).

Vanessa’s desserts are becoming the stuff of legend; you won’t be disappointed! Evening meals must be booked in advance and we just ask that you tell us of any foods to avoid due to allergies or dislikes so we can plan a delicious menu accordingly.

Please note that we only offer evening meals 2 or 3 evening per week. Just ask if you’re interested.

Drinks and aperitifs

We’re fully licensed and offer a selection of beers, decent house red & white wines (including Champagne & Prosecco for those special occasions) and a good range of malt whiskies to enjoy after your meal (or whenever really).

Best B&B ever!
Evening meal was just the best. Butter Nut soup with whisky… (I don’t like whisky), so Gordon provided a wee dram in a jug and encouraged us to try it in the soup… wow… if you haven’t, then you should make a trip here just for the soup! Fish pie and then… sticky toffee pudding and ice cream! Stunning! Breakfast is served with views to die for… We didn’t want to leave! Stop looking and book at least 1 night. I doubt you will be disappointed!
